Epic is removing ‘embarrassing’ breast animations from Fortnite



Early this morning Epic Games launched the much-anticipated sixth season of Fortnite, which added a number of features to the game — but not all of them were welcome.
As first noted by Fortnite streamer “Agony,” the update featured elaborate breast animations for the new “Calamity” avatar. It appears that the animations only show up when the avatar emotes in its default skin. In a statement to The Verge, an Epic spokesperson said that “This is unintended, embarrassing, and it was careless for us to let this ship. We are working now to fix this as soon as possible.”
It’s unclear how an “embarrassing” addition like this made it through the QA process at Epic, but at the very least the developer seems to be acting quickly to remove the animations. On Twitter, Epic said that it had temporarily “disabled elements of our animation system,” presumably while it implements a fix.
Season six of Fortnite went live at 4AM ET this morning, and made some big changes to the game, adding a floating island, the ability to turn invisible, and adorable new pets to collect.

Our favorite iOS apps for the iPhone and iPad in 2018

As 2018 comes to a close, it’s time to look at some our favorite apps of the year. While not all of these are brand new, many of them popped up onto our radar for the first time in 2018, and are definitely worth the attention. Others are some of our favorites that are still best-in-class despite having been around for some time now. We aim to do things differently at TNW, and as such you’re not going to find the recommendations you’re probably used to seeing: Gmail, Skype, Dropbox, and the like.
