Deal: Samsung Galaxy S8 for $669, Galaxy S8 Plus for $769 – 5/30/17

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are currently on sale over at eBay. The Galaxy S8 is coming in at a price of $669, and the Galaxy S8 Plus for $769. That’s $80 off of their prices, and makes them the cheapest available, and these are new Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus models as well. These are both the dual SIM models, which will work in the US, but only on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile. Unfortunately, Sprint and Verizon customers are out of luck.
Samsung announced both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus back in March, and it officially launched in late April. They have quickly become some of the best smartphones on the market. The Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch display, with a 18.5:9 aspect ratio, giving you a taller display, but with smaller bezels. The Galaxy S8 Plus has a larger 6.2-inch display. Both are powered by the Exynos 8895 processor (since these are the international variants and not the US ones), along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Galaxy S8 sports a 3000mAh battery while the larger Galaxy S8 Plus has a 3500mAh battery inside.
eBay is offering up free shipping on both models. They do also ship from within the US, so they should arrive pretty quickly (eBay is currently quoting as early as Thursday delivery). You can pick up either model from the links below.

As 2018 comes to a close, it’s time to look at some our favorite apps of the year. While not all of these are brand new, many of them popped up onto our radar for the first time in 2018, and are definitely worth the attention. Others are some of our favorites that are still best-in-class despite having been around for some time now. We aim to do things differently at TNW, and as such you’re not going to find the recommendations you’re probably used to seeing: Gmail, Skype, Dropbox, and the like.
