HTC 10: Android update tracker (Update: Verizon Nougat rollout starts March 30)

Update: Verizon HTC 10 customers have been told to expect the Android Nougat OTA to commence tomorrow, March 30. The announcement was made on Twitter a few hours ago by HTC VP of Product Management Mo Versi. The update will deliver all of the benefits of Android Nougat, but we don’t yet know about any specific Verizon extras. We’ll find out soon enough — you can keep your eye on the Verizon Wireless HTC 10 support page where more info should appear shortly.

HTC 10 Android Nougat update

The HTC 10 began to receive Android Nougat back in November, making HTC one of the first manufacturers to roll it out. The update arrived to unlocked US versions of the device and, soon after, T-Mobile also began to issue the update, deploying it to its customers around January 7.
HTC also began rolling out Android Nougat in Europe in early January, before it was stopped due to bugs. It picked up again on January 24, where it hit the UK, but was delayed again a couple of days later due to further technical faults. It started again in February where things ran smoother.
Sprint started rolling out the 1.3 GB Nougat update to its customers on February 20, and it landed in India on February 23. Verizon
Most recently, HTC VP of Product Management Mo Versi announced on Twitter that Verizon customers could expect the rollout on March 30.

  • January 7, 2017, T-Mobile issues the HTC 10 Android Nougat update to its customers.

Sprint HTC 10 update (2PS6500):

  • February 20, 2017, Sprint starts rolling out the final Nougat build to the HTC. It includes the latest security patches and network performance improvements.

  • March 29, 2017, HTC Vice President of Product Management Mo Versi announces that the Android Nougat OTA for HTC 10 owners on Verizon will begin on March 30.
  • December 29, 2016, Verizon rolls out latest HTC 10 security patches, Nougat still to arrive.

  • February 23, 2017, Android Nougat confirmed in India on HTC 10.
  • February 7, 2017, update starts again in mainland Europe.
  • January 26, 2017, Europe rollout gets delayed following further technical issues.
  • January 26, 2017, Nougat rolls out in Europe once more.
  • January 24, 2017, Android Nougat hits the UK, the rest of Europe to follow soon after.
  • January 14, 2017, HTC halts European Nougat rollout following bug reports.

Stable Android 10 starts hitting the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ (Update: Canada)

UPDATE  1 : 2019/12/16 4:35AM PST Previous rollouts UPDATE  2 : 2020/01/06 2:15AM PST Canada Two weeks after the  Galaxy S10 line received its stable One UI 2.0 build , it’s time for the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ to get the latest Android flavor. According to a report by  SamMobile , the two late-2019 Samsung flagships are receiving the Android 10 update in Germany, although the rollout is limited to a small group of beta testers.
